      <description>The Chicago Cubs today agreed to terms with free agent left-handed hitter JOHN MABRY on a one-year contract for the 2006 season. Financial terms of the contract with the infielder/outfielder were not disclosed. 
Mabry, 35, saw action in 112 games for the St. Louis Cardinals in 2005, batting .240 with 24 extra-base hits and 32 RBI.
